To access the Tour du Valat
Coming from Nîmes
In Arles, go toward Saintes-Marie-de-la-Mer then turn left toward Salin de Giraud. Go beyond the village of Sambuc. Roughly 800 m beyond the village limits, take the first road to the right (C136 toward Fiélouse). After 3 km, go over the canal (an S-shaped curve) and keep going straight on the path to the Tour du Valat.
NB: It is approximately 30 km from Arles to the Tour du Valat.
FYI: there are no petrol stations along the way.
Coming from Marseille
Go toward Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône - Salin de Giraud. Before you get to Port-Saint-Louis, turn on the D35 (to the right after the bridge) toward the Bac de Barcarin (toll boat). After crossing the Rhone, turn right in the direction of Arles (D36) and drive for approximately 12 km. Before you get to the hamlet of Sambuc, turn left on the C136 toward Fiélouse. After 3 km, go over the canal (an S-shaped curve) and keep going straight on the path to the Tour du Valat.
